Where the numbers come from
A glass-box model owes you its inputs, not just its outputs. These are every source Dynasty DNA reads, what we take from each one, and the licence it arrives under.
- nflverseCC-BY-4.0
NFL player weekly stats (1999–present) + snap counts
Aggregated to per-season and per-game rates and used as model inputs
- ffopportunity (ffverse)CC-BY-SA-4.0
Expected fantasy points (points over expected)
Aggregated to per-game expected points; shown as a labeled signal and used as one input (35% blend) to the projection model; not used in DNA Value or fundamentals
- FantasyCalcProprietary. Commercial use requires written permission.
Dynasty + redraft market values
Calibration ladder for DNA Value and the basis of the divergence signal; redistributed with attribution
Market Value is FantasyCalc’s number, shown as-is. Dynasty DNA Value is our own model’s output, calibrated against their value ladder, with the divergence signal computed as the difference between the two.
- SleeperPublic API
Player dictionary + league data
Player dictionary and, for connected leagues, league/roster/matchup data; no affiliation
The api publishes this same list at GET /api/credits. This page mirrors it, so the credit you read here is the credit the service itself reports.
Dynasty DNA is an independent product. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper. Source names and marks belong to their respective owners.
Everything downstream of these inputs, the Dynasty DNA Value, the waterfall, the projection band, is our own, and graded in public on the methodology page.
